What information do we collect?

We collect contact information and demographic information about you and your business when you use any of our online forms to subscribe to b2bTRIBE, purchase an advertisement, or submit content for the magazine.

When you complete a financial transaction online with us using a credit card, we store the following in our database: your name, date of payment, PayPal™ authorization and cancellation codes, transaction’s reference number, type of payment, the last four digits of the credit card, the credit card expiration date, the cardholder name, billing address and shipping address. We DO NOT store the CVV number for credit cards.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  • Processing financial transactions and fulfilling requests submitted via forms. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
  • Adding you to the magazine’s distribution list if you complete a subscription or sign-up form. Emails provided during financial transactions are not added to the magazine’s subscription list. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
  • Demographic information may be used in aggregate with other subscribers for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, promotional purposes, and tailoring our content to various groups. Submitting demographic information is optional.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. All financial transactions on our site are completed via secure PayPal transaction. All form data is submitted using either JotForm’s or InfusionSoft’s encryption. Our database is accessible only to those authorized with special access rights to our system and who are required to keep the information confidential.

However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. Although we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you send to us, and you do so at your own risk. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

We are not responsible for ensuring the removal or deletion from the websites of our business partners of your information provided by us to our business partners as permitted by you.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your e-mail address or financial information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
